Ken Kim Welcome to the Cornpatch! The Cornpatch was established in 1981 by our parents. Dennie and Lucy Schwieso.. With the help of Lucy's parents, Lawrence and Fran Beck, they created one of central Iowa's best family owned and operated restaurants. Over the last 30 years Larry and Fran have long since passed away and with the recent loss of our mom, Lucy, their son, Ken and daughter Kim have taken the responsibility of keeping the family owned business alive and well. As with their grandparents and parents, Ken and Kim strive for excellence in our food, service and attention to detail. Our restaurant is truly family owend and operated, there is always a family on hand. As our crazy, hectic, fast paced world seems to change daily, the Cornpatch home cooked specialties stay the same.

With all that said, relax and enjoy a home cooked meal, just like your mom and grandma used to make. As Kim always says. "We are not fancy, we are family". Enjoy! From our family to yours. Thanks for coming in!
